Not just rugged tablets – the RIGHT rugged tablets
Posted 02/02/2019 byWe’ve all heard about and read about the arguments for rugged tablets versus consumer tablets. Shoot, most have us have even made these arguments to peers and end users alike. Your ScanSource sales rep can tell you that rugged tablets are designed to withstand the torturous environment of the workplace versus the chaotic backseat of the carpool minivan. And, of course, ScanSource offers a full range of Zebra rugged tablets that not only have features such as reinforced screens, durable bodies, and waterproof resilience, they also boast many of the features regular tablets offer, such as bright and vibrant touchscreens, huge collections of apps, and easy-to-carry designs.

What's a Ship Experience Access Room (SEAR)? Read on!
Posted 12/20/2018 byScanSource was honored to be part of a wonderful project at the USS Wisconsin Museum in Norfolk, Virginia. Our partners IPConfigure and Axis Communications offered a great deal of support, providing the equipment and manpower to set up cameras and run cables as part of the Museum’s Ship Experience Access Room (SEAR). The SEAR provides a wheelchair accessible room full of large monitors for veterans and their families to get an in-depth look at several areas on board the Battleship USS Wisconsin, many of which are very hard to gain access to. Using pan-tilt-zoom security cameras on the ship and joysticks back in the SEAR, veterans can control the cameras to explore the spaces.

Take Your Cisco Webex Solution to the Next Level with LG and Oblong

What do I mean by “Cisco Collaboration” in regards to this new role? I’m glad you asked...
